She's a talented Actress. Working at a video store is becoming a right-of-passage in the entertainment industry, since Quetin Tarantino made it big. Amanda Crew, too, worked at a Blockbuster in Langley, B.C, when she wasn't training vigorously in tap, hip-hop and jazz dancing. Amanda started acting in grade four, when she landed a lead role in a musical called Dragon Tails. Three agents courted young Amanda, and she has been shifting her focus from dance to acting ever since. Amanda's television debut came with Dear Sara, Sincerely Patty, directed by J.O'Byrne for Backstreet Productions in 2002. Previously, she filmed a Coca-Cola commerical and acted in stage plays like Stalling, Cordstons Courts and Langley, The Musical. Her training includes the summer professional program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (2003), sessions at Tarlington Training and the Carousel Theatre School. She starred in She's The Man with Amanda Bynes, and Final Destination 3 both of which hit the theatres in 2006. 15/Love is Amanda's breakout role, playing the steely and statuesque Tanis McTaggert. She more recently had a lot of success playing Carrie Miller in Canadian TV show Whistler.
